First Class 2018 - 2019
Ms. O'Keeffe
For engineers week we deigned, planned and made the Eiffel Tower out of Tinfoil and we also had a competition to see which group could make the tallest tower using marshmallows and cocktail sticks.
World Book Day
We told the class all about our favourite books on World Book Day.
In first class we were learning about Mexico. We worked in groups to to make projects all about Mexico.
We also made butter. It was delicious!
Ms. O'Keeffe's class made Christmas decorations!
Science Week 2018
We did a lot of activities in first class for science week which included a visit from Dr. Orla O'Sullivan
Go Noodle Vote
We voted for our favourite GO Noodle character.
Halloween
Acrostic Poems - we worked in groups to write and present acrostic poems about our favourite hobbies
Transport - we were learning about transport in SESE and made different types of transport in art
